Savings at I-GO are about to get twice as nice.

Throughout February, we're increasing the hourly-rate discount on vehicles in I-GO's Discount Car Program from $1 to $2! While we're at it, we'll also offer twice as many discount cars as usual in all of our city and suburban neighborhoods.

Here's the deal:

• From Feb 1 to Feb 28, 2011,* I-GO will designate select vehicles of all types as discount cars in each of our 35 Chicago neighborhoods, Evanston, Oak Park, Wilmette, and Skokie.
• The hourly rate for discount cars will be $2 less than what you’d normally pay for a particular vehicle type on a weekday or weekend based on your driving plan.**

Reserving a discount car is as simple as 1-2-3:

1. Log in to the reservations system on www.igocars.org.
2. Check the box next to the dollar sign and “Discount” under Amenities.
3. Select your preferred location/address and click the Search button.

Now, go ahead and pocket those two bucks you just saved, and give yourself a pat on the back for driving smart with I-GO.

* The special $2 discount pricing applies only to trips taken from Feb 1-28, 2011. It does not apply to reservations made during this time for trips scheduled after Feb 28, 2011.

** The $2 discount pricing does not apply to 24-hour day-rate vehicle reservations, reservations made any time between midnight and 6am (already discounted at $4/hour), or Mon-Thurs 9pm-7am overnight reservations (already discounted at $29).
