You’re joining a progressive community dedicated to affordable, convenient and eco-conscious transportation in the Chicago area. Membership provides access to all I-GO cars in more than 30 neighborhoods across the Chicago area. For a list of frequently asked questions about I-GO, please read our FAQ.

First, make sure you’re eligible for enrollment. Then select one of the three options below.

When opening a new account, you’ll also need to select a rate plan on the application form.


STANDARD INDIVIDUAL I-GO MEMBERSHIP

Open a new account or join an existing account. Any eligible driver may be added to an existing I-GO account. (Additional drivers will need the main account holder’s name and/or member ID number when completing the application form.) The primary account holder is responsible for all charges on his or her account.

CHICAGO CARD PLUS/I-GO MEMBERSHIP

The Chicago Card Plus/I-GO Card is a joint smart card developed by CTA and I-GO that provides access to CTA buses and trains, Pace buses and all I-GO cars. Please note this is a pilot program available only to applicants opening a new account with I-GO. For more details, see our CCP/I-GO Card page.

I-GO BUSINESS MEMBERSHIP

When your business opens an account, employees can be added to it by completing an application for approval. In addition, we’ll waive the initial sign-up fee (a $75 savings) if your employee also wants a personal membership. See our Business Users page for more details.
