Apply for I-GO membership

Congratulations! You’re joining a progressive community dedicated to affordable, convenient and eco-conscious transportation in the Chicago area. Membership provides access to all I-GO cars in more than 30 neighborhoods throughout the city and suburbs.

Just follow these three simple steps and you’ll be a car-sharing pro before you know it:

  1. Make sure you’re eligible for enrollment.
  2. Choose a rate plan. You’ll need to select one on the application form.
  3. Select one of the three membership options below.

Open a new account or join an existing account. Any eligible driver may be added to an existing I-GO account. (Additional drivers will need the main account holder’s name and/or member ID number when completing the application form.) The primary account holder is responsible for all charges on his or her account.

CHICAGO CARD PLUS/I-GO MEMBERSHIP


CHICAGO CARD PLUS/I-GO MEMBERSHIP

By selecting this option, you will be opening two accounts: a Chicago Card Plus account with the Chicago Transit Authority and an individual membership account with I-GO. You will receive a smartcard that provides access to I-GO cars, CTA buses and trains, and Pace buses. Please note that your online accounts for each will not be electronically linked, and you will manage them separately. This is a pilot program available only to applicants opening a new account with I-GO.

I-GO BUSINESS MEMBERSHIP

I-GO offers three rate plans for businesses. When your business opens an account, employees can be added to it by completing an application for approval. We’ll also waive the initial sign-up fee (a $75 savings) if the employee opts to open a personal account as well.
