Car-sharing members enjoy healthier lifestyles. I-GO members drive an average of only 500 miles per year, versus the typical car owner in Chicago who logs 10,000 on the odometer. As a result, they tend to also walk and bike a lot more, and use public transit more frequently—another form of sustainable transportation that’s far less harmful to the environment than millions of cars and trucks on our streets and highways.
